Description of nylon mesh

 

Monofilament synthetic fibers can be woven very precisely to produce industrial textiles with a narrow pore distribution. This precision weaving process produces fine mesh fabrics with pore sizes (hole sizes) as small as 50 microns and strand and thickness tolerances of +/- 10%.

The structure of the plastic sheet is determined by the type of yarn, the size of the yarn and the number of yarns. Monofilament yarns are a single continuous filament that produces a relatively smooth surface. In the plain weave structure, the through holes of the monofilament fabric provide minimal flow restriction and surface loading of the particles.
